The 97th Academy Awards were held Monday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Comedian Conan O'Brien hosted the event, which was the first Oscars broadcast both on ABC and via streaming on Hulu.
'Anora' emerged as the night's most lauded film, securing five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director for Sean Baker, Best Leading Actress for Mikey Madison, and Best Original Screenplay.
Sean Baker also created history by becoming first film maker to win 5 oscar awards in a single ceremony after Walt Disney.
Adrien Brody won his second Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in 'The Brutalist,' a film about a reclusive artist caught in the complexities of his own creative ambition.
Kieran Culkin received the Best Supporting Actor for his performance in 'A Real Pain.' While Zoe Saldaña won for her role in 'Emilia Pérez.'
