Malayattoor Award is a Malayalam literary award given to a writer for his/her excellent work in the past year. The award is instituted by Malayattoor Smaraka Samithi in the memory of the famous Malayalam writer Malayattoor Ramakrishnan in 2006.
The award carries a monetary award of ₹25000, a statuette, and a citation.
The First Recipient of this award is Perumbadavam Sreedharan in 2006 for his work Narayanam and the Last Recipient of Odakkuzhal Award in 2023 and the first female recipient of Malayattoor Award is Sara Joseph for her novel Esther ('à´Žà´¸്à´¤േർ').
